Step 1 launch the DVD to flash video converter and upload the DVD movie
Double click its icon and launch the DVD to flash video converter. Click DVD load on the pop-up window and choose the DVD you have inserted in the DVD slot. You are allowed to choose several titles and chapters of the DVD video in the DVD loader window which lists all parts of the movie.
Step 2 customize DVD videos
1. Choose the profile of the output flash with four options: high quality, low quality, normal quality, custom; select frame rate, bitrate.
2. Choose the format of the output video.
Note: bear in mind that Generate HTML is valid only if you tick Generate SWF". If you choose "Generate SWF-->Play the created external FLV file progressively", "Generate thumbnail" is selected automatically.
3. Beautify the output flash video. You could select background color, player, preloader, effect and embed text/image and URL as watermark to perfect the video. Also, head and tail could be added to the beginning and end of the output video.
Step 3 Edit the video
Choose the files and click edit or right click and choose edit on the pop up drop down list.
Crop: Drag the fame to crop the file or you could input values into the box or click the arrows.
Effect: Drag the slider to change the brightness, contrast, saturation and click the arrow mark to select effect. If you want to remove the previous operation, you can click the reset.
Step 4 clip the video
Choose the file, and click clip, then you will see the clip window. There are three ways to clip a video.
1. You can input the values into the set start time and set end time box and click the ok button.
2. Drag the two sliders to mark the start time and end time.
3. Click open bracket and close bracket to mark the time.
Tips: if you want to cut another segment off the video, just click + , click - if you want to delete the previous conduct.
Note: the button Clip and Edit is invalid if you choose the newly merged files or more than two source files.
Step 5 merge and slide the video
Press shift &ctrl, choose more than one file and click merge or slide on the pop up drop down list.
Tips: if you want to change the sequence of the files before merging or sliding, just right click the file and select move up and move down on the drop-down list.
At the left lower corner of the preview screen after sliding, there are cover pictures of the separate file and you can click the picture to choose which one to watch.
You can also highlight some files first, then right click to choose merge or slide in the popup drop-down list.
Note: the button Merge is valid only when you choose two or more sources files or newly merged files.
Step 6 Convert DVD to flash
Click start button to get the DVD movie converted. You may preview the video on the preview window.
